Trained at the Beaux Arts, then an audiovisual B.T.S and finally at the Esra Groupe, Nicolas Chalons began his career as a camera assistant then director of photography. In 2012 he joined the Technicolor group where he became technical manager of the image division. Founder of Lux, he is now the technical director of IIW STUDIO and LUX

Cyril Le Pesant joined Gaumont in 2020 as the new Entertainment & Families Director in Paris. Cyril Le Pesant works in collaboration with the teams in the United States on IP sourcing, co-productions, development and production, mainly focusing on the management of the Paris-based studio. Previously, Cyril was co-founder and CEO of KNIGHTWORKS, a production, animation and creative studio based in Paris. Since KNIGHTWORKS’ debut in 2009, Cyril has partnered with a long list of prestigious clients and produced animated series, films and documentaries.

After 15 years of experience in the creation and production of computer graphics through different formats: films, series, VFX, video mapping and VR. The former associate creative director of the Parisian studio KNIGHTWORKS joins SPooN, an innovative company that produces interactive characters.
Always seeking to push creative and technical innovations further, Umaru builds with the SPooN team, linking it between animation and storytelling techniques with artificial intelligence and human-machine interaction.

Bastien Chauvet
Passionate about special effects since childhood, he founded a theater and cinema association at the age of 16, then joined the Georges Méliès school from which he graduated in 2005.
Christian Guillon hired him at EST for several films, including his first shoot on Asterix 3. Il collabore ensuite avec Mikros et Def(2)shoot où Franck Malmin lui offre sa première supervision en 2008. Back in France, he took over the technical and visual direction of Ellipse Animation (Smurf – the serie, Belfort & Lupin), then collaborated with SupaMonks and WatchNext Media.
He joined MPC Paris in July 2021.
In parallel with his production activities, he returned to the Georges Méliès school as a teacher, where he has been teaching for 10 years.
Romain Cheminade

With more than 15 years of international experience in the entertainment and film industry, Romain has put his talent and energy at the service of many innovative and prestigious projects, from conception to delivery. Romain has worked on a wide range of impressive projects: from spectacular animations for the Disney parks where he focused on special effects, to applying his expertise in In-camera visual effects while working on major films in the UK and in the United States in collaboration with partners such as Lux Machina, Industrial Light & Magic, Epic Games, Netflix.
Its technical, operational and managerial expertise has enabled it to obtain recognized and valued results in the entertainment and film industries. A true enthusiast, Romain has always innovated, combining technology and creativity, to offer the public visually stunning entertainment.
Romain has assembled a team of veterans with decades of industry expertise to create dark matters, a production campus offering film sets and support spaces, as well as services ranging from previsualization to virtual sets on LED screens.
Doug Chiang
Doug Chiang began his career as a stop motion animator on the television series Pee Wee’s Playhouse. After attending UCLA Film School, he became a director of commercials for Rhythm and Hues before joining George Lucas in 1991 to become creative director at ILM (Industrial Light & Magic).
In the 90s, he acted as artistic director of visual effects on several iconic films such as Terminator 2, Forrest Gump, The Mask or Jumanji.
In 2004, Doug Chiang created his own studio Ice Blink Studios. In 2006, he joined forces with the Walt Disney Company and Robert Zemeckis to found a new generation digital studio, Image Movers Digital, of which he became Executive President. During this period, he collaborated on several films by Robert Zemeckis (The Polar Express; Beowulf; A Christmas Carol) as Production Designer.
Doug Chiang returned to Lucasfilm in 2013 and is now Vice President and Executive Creative Director. He oversees designs for the Star Wars franchise, including movies, theme parks, games and new media. He also provides artistic direction for the tv series The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew. He recently collaborated with Robert Zemeckis on the film Pinocchio.
Doug Chiang has won numerous awards, including an Oscar®, 2 BAFTAs, two Clio Awards, a VES Award and an Art Directors Guild Award.
Eric De Wulf
Eric De Wulf is a special effects designer and is best known for his work on I Kill Giants (2017), Mandy (2018) and Iron Sky (2019).
Eric started his career about 30 years ago. In 1999, he founded Caramba Decor/SFX, a scenography, set construction and special effects company for the film industry. In 2013, he created WULF-FX which mainly focuses on creating special effects. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in the fields of animatronics, pyrotechnics, elemental effects, prop making, mechanical effects, scale and miniature models, and design.
Mr DINH TRI DUNG
Directeur – Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC)
Mr. DUNG, Dinh Tri is a true educator in the field of multimedia design, visual effects, animation and game art with more than 15 years of experience. With the Indian franchise, it established its 1st multimedia college in Hochiminh City in 2007 and expanded to a network of 6 training centers with 5,000 students enrolled.
In 2019, he introduced the franchise education model of VFX, Animation, Game Art Design in Vietnam and established the first such academy in the country. Mr. Dung is very active with the main VFX-Animation studio manager in Vietnam in forming a rather young association of VFX, animation vendors in the country and has a great ambition to build the strong post industry. -production in Vietnam in the coming time.
Éric Gandois (Storyboard artist)
After studying Applied Arts (ENSAMAA) and animation cinema (CFT Gobelins), a few internships
(Cryo/Ellipse animation/Disney studios Montreuil), pubs and short films, it was only when he met director Philippe Haïm that he was hired to storyboard his first feature film Les Dalton.
After several collaborations with Europacorp, in particular “Jack and the mechanics of the heart”, Luc besson will call on him for “Lucy” (biggest French success at the world box office) and especially “Valerian and the city of a thousand planets” which he will do the entire storyboard.
In 2014 he directed his first short film “Eve”, a science fiction film shot in stereoscopic 3D which will go around the world.
In recent years, Éric Gandois has become one of the most prolific French Storyboard Artists, trying his hand at all genres of cinema (Animation, action, comedy, history, science fiction, horror, etc…) and with more than 50 feature films and series on the counter:

Xavier Roy

Jérôme Monceaux is a world-renowned expert in the autonomous, interactive and social robotics sector, he is an engineer, multi-entrepreneur, co-founder of Aldebaran and co-designer of the Pepper, Nao and Romeo robots.
Jérôme Monceaux then became vice-president in charge of the creative and technological dimensions at SoftBank He carries the company’s vision, develops the software architecture and coordinates the 300 engineers on the creation of Pepper and its deployment in Japan in record time, directly linked to Masayoshi Son (CEO Softbank) and Terry Gou (CEO Foxconn).

Enchanted Tools, which aims to captivate the world by bringing a sense of enchantment to technological innovation.
Enchanted Tools unveiled its first prototype, Miroki, on November 29 in Paris. Miroki is a character robot developed in less than a year by a team of 50 employees who intend to revolutionize robotics.
The robot will bring a major innovation in social logistics and will start to be used in the health sector, especially in hospitals.
Alexis Perrin
Rumble Fish is a production company created by Alexis Perrin, former production manager at BUF (Thor, The Grandmaster, Nymphomaniac, L’Odyssée de Pi) and former founder of Logical Pictures (Revenge, Incident in a Ghostland, Swallow).
In 2022, Alexis produced VESPER CHRONICLES, a science fiction tale written and directed by Kristina Buozyte and Bruno Samper, which was distributed by Condor in France. Rumble Fish also co-produced SALOUM by Jean Luc Herbulot, selected in Toronto (“Midnight Madness”); or the Australian film BLAZE by Del Kathryn Barton, which premiered in Tribeca.
