HISTORY OF MATTE-PAINTING IN CINEMA LECTURE BY GIUSY PISANO

To complete your visit to the “Le cinéma en trompe-l’œil” exhibition, Giusy Pisano, University Professor at ENS Louis Lumière and film historian, will review the history of matte-painting from the beginnings of cinema to the present day, with the help of numerous illustrations. Discover how cinema has used this technique to extend any film set, often using undetectable paint!
