
The PIDS Enghien is an event dedicated to digital creation in all its forms: from visual effects to virtual reality, through animation and 3D, the PIDS crosses the creative, technical, economic and creative challenges of a sector in perpetual evolution.
The organizers created the Digital Creation GENIE Awards in 2015, which aim to honor the talents of French digital creation.

Guillaume Rocheron
honored at the GENIE Awards 2024
On the occasion of PIDS ENGHIEN (January 31-February 3, 2024), the Arts Centre and the town of Enghien-les-Bains are pleased to announce that Guillaume Rocheron, VFX supervisor at DNEG, winner of several Oscar ® BAFTA and VES Awards, will receive a Genie d’Honneur on Wednesday January 31, 2024 at the 10th edition of the GENIE Awards and will give an exceptional meeting on Friday February 2, 2024 at the Centre des arts d’Enghien-les-Bains.

The GENIE Visionary Award rewards a personality of the digital creation industry for significant and lasting contributions to the art and science by way of vision, artistry, invention and innovation.
Guillaume Rocheron is a VFX supervisor and winner of several Oscars, BAFTAs and VES Awards.
Guillaume began his career in the early 2000s at BUF in Paris, where he gained initial experience working on commercials and international feature films. In 2005, he moved to the UK to work for MPC, where he became a VFX supervisor, working on 24 feature film projects in 17 years.
During this period, Guillaume worked with such prestigious filmmakers as Ang Lee, Sam Mendes, Jordan Peele, Gareth Edwards and Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
In 2012, Guillaume received his first Oscar® for his work as VFX supervisor on Ang Lee’s critically acclaimed “Life of Pi”, for which he also won a BAFTA and a VES Award.
In 2019, he supervised the visual effects for Sam Mendes’ war film “1917”, for which he received his second Oscar® for Best Visual Effects and his second BAFTA, again in the same category.
Guillaume’s most recent projects include Jordan Peele’s supernatural sci-fi thriller “Nope”, Alejandro Gonzalez Iñaritu’s comedy “Bardo: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths” and James Gray’s “Ad Astra”.
